quote:I didn't see the play. But I think the actual rule is you must be in possession when you hit the ground if that's the next thing that happens. If crossing the endzone with the ball you have to have made a "football play" as in take a step in possession. Anything after crossing the endzone in possession is irrelevant.
Gotta maintain possession when you hit the ground right?

The video evidence probably isn't "indisputable" so you can definitely make the argument that the call on the field should stand.
However all in all I don't think it was eve really caught by Va Tech, ball was never possessed and it was touching guys who were laying out of bounds, making it dead.

Yep, if I am the president and coach of VT...I would be burning this mthr fckr down this morning.
Asking for all communications, phone, text or email from that review room during and after that review period
Guarantee, you will lasso the ACC commissioner or one of his assistants. That was egregious.

If their retard coach would of used his timeouts better. They wouldn’t have had to use a hail Mary throw.

This is true, but, it doesn't negate my previous statement. They need to get lawyers involved.
Those players on the field just got an upclose and personal look at real world corruption in college football.
It stinks.
