, I saw an undisciplined, not improved, poorly led team try it's god damn best to lose but thank Christ it was Vandy.

What I saw was a highly motivated Vandy, with a damn good qb that no one had film of, and a Georgia defensive line getting cut blocked constantly.

How is it apparent he was cursing at him? Is there audio? Did anyone confirm this?

Simply based on Franklin and grantham's body language Franklin had to have said something. And, though I can't corroborate this on my own, it seems like most people might eb getting their info from a DawgPost writer who could be seen walking next to Grantham when he was going to shake hands with Franklin and who posted post-game thoughts on what happened. Premium info that I can't access though

Grantham, he of the "choke" and "throat slash?" He's not a bastion of self-control. Seriously doubt he needs a chivalrous reason to act like a buffoon.

You mean Trooper taylor of the backwards hat, gator chomp, fairley chest bump and Towel wave loves and defends his players? I'm shocked!

That Vandy offensive line reminds me of Auburn's and Georgia Tech's

You lost me here.

I have no problem with coaches defending their players. Going full retard, yelling "frick you!" in an opposing coach's face, and starting a fight after a game are hardly "defending your player."

You do realize that cut blocking is legal, right?

So you're complaining that someone legally blocked your DL?

It doesn't make sense.

C'mon dude, I'm not asking you to be optimistic but we didn't lose. Firings and replacements need to be made in the off-season, but only to build on obvious improvements we've made this season. Grantham's D, despite last night's effort, has been an improvement. Crowell was banged up and barely played last night. Samuel was serviceable enough to get the W. Bennett, Brown, King, Charles and Murray had a pretty solid passing game going. It wasn't 02 dominance, but it actually did show that Bobo assessed the inabilities of the run game and made an adjustment. Still think he needs to be fired the moment the bowl game is over, but for the purpose of this season it does show some progress. We knew coming in that this Vandy team wasn't quite the patsy of years past. We got what we thought we would out of them.

Insert "Nick Fairley" here and you just made the same argument Auburn fans made last year after the UGA game.

Funny how perspectives change.

Starting a fight? I didn't see any punches thrown? And based on the camera angle, how do you know Franklin wasn't yelling the exact same shite back at him?

Wasn't a cut block, it was a chop. Kwame Geathers was blatantly taken down by their center from behind at the knees and Kwame responded by rabbit punching him while trying to get up. Stupid move on Kwame's part, but I think anyone can sympathize with his reaction

Several people have reported the players got in a skirmish and were pushing and shoving as a direct result of Grantham's actions.

To be honest, I don't know what Frankling did or didn't do. I already stated that. I'm just saying that all you Georgia fans defending Grantham saw the exact same shite I did. You have no idea what really happened and defending him is ridiculous.

Shawn Williams didn't grind his face mask against the opposing QB's face or blatantly cheap shot him in the back with the crown of his helmet. Weak comparison

I didn't compare their play. I compared the argument.

Quit being a bitch.

I never said he raked his facemask up anyones face, or hit someone 5 seconds after the play was over.

Defending him is no different than you Aubies defending Trooper or Fairley last year. You do it because they automatically get your benefit of the doubt. And the evidence fully supports our view on the situation. Grantham didn't start rampaging off the sideline and jump in franklin's face. And there was pushing and shoving going on all game, even during warm-ups. It was a heated game between UGA and a Vandy team comprised of a lot of guys from GA. They had something to prove and it was a bitter fight for both teams. Grantham is only as complicit in causing a post-game pissing match as Franklin
