Every team who has a decent coach is now worried that A&M is going to come poach their coach. And A&M is just the beginning. There will be more by the end of the season.

Now is the time that really good coaches that are not getting paid as they should, get a raise one way or the other.

I've been thinking this for at least 25 years. I think the problem is threefold:

1) A&M can't get over the little-brother mentality, and that funnels down to the players.

2) Once recruits get on campus and see all the weird shite (aka 'traditions') going on down there, it messes with their confidence.

3) A recent factor = straight-up buying players. When getting kids who solely want $$, buying in to win games & championships becomes an afterthought.

you've been thinking. but, you don't know what you're talking about. so, i'd say you've wasted a lot of time.
