reminds me of a comment I heard recently regarding stats pointing to one team over another..."you need to quit looking at the stats and watch how the teams play"

I have watched Vandy. Do they look like a good team to you?

They are definitely overacheivers, but they are far from being a joke this year. They should beat UT, will likely beat UK, and will be competitive against FL and GA. KC.

I'm not predicting them to win the East or anything, but they accel at turnover margin, special teams and taking advantage of the opportunities that are given to them. They also have performed well at "winning time" against Auburn and Ole Miss. Those are ingredients of a good football team. I'd take them over Kentucky right now...

I think they have played good enough football so far to be considered able to roll with USC, UGA, Fla, and a host of other teams ranked ahead of them.

I think they probably beat Miss. State and Tennessee, the other SEC games and Wake are tossups IMO.

If you can't beat Miss St. or Tennessee you are a contender in the SEC, so it goes without saying that Vandy would beat them, and Wake Forest. I think they could also beat Auburn..

Anyone who says Vandy is not for real knows nothing about them. There are 2 key players who are leading this team with heart and soul. It's McKenzie Adams and Jamie Graham. For those of you who do not know of Jamie Graham he's a 2 sport athlete. He plays basketball and football for Vandy. If you noticed, which I'm sure you did not, Jamie Graham was all over the field last night on Offense, Defense and special teams. He made big plays at every position. McKenzie Adams was the 6'3" 200lb back up QB who came in and threw 2 TD's. Vandy is playing unselfish team football and anyone who takes them lightly will lose. Congrats to Vandy!!!
