No, I said he should probably be fired because keeping him on the show would be toxic due to the backlash and ill will he generated.
I don’t like anyone getting cancelled, but it’s probably going to happen because pretty much everyone is calling him out.

People are not watching something on TV because that program is being flooded with a message they don’t want to hear. You think Bayless’ program or his ability to be on said program should end because his message is something you don’t want to hear. This isn’t complicated. You’re a hypocrite.

Skip Bayless is a bottom feeding POS for attacking someone for being open about depression and anxiety, especially if it’s due to the death of family. I’ve never been one to throw around toxic masculinity, but I think this would be a perfect example, calling a male athlete weak for having emotions and being open about it. Men have feelings, Skip. Maybe you should find some for yourself other than overcompensation and inferiority.

Like these aren’t just random Twitter personalities going after him. He may not be fired, but he’s burnt a lot of bridges.

In my opinion it depends on the meds and the diagnosis. Anti-depressants are almost certainly overused. Especially when GP’s dole them out and do so without any other treatment or lifestyle changes. There is also a tendency for doctors to prescribe heavy hitters (I’m thinking anti-psychotics in particular) way too liberally.
Beyond that I think the biggest issue is the use of ever growing cocktails of drugs used to treat severe mental illness. It gets to the point it’s impossible to weed out which drugs are working from the ones that aren’t. And making an assessment as to whether or not benefits outweigh side effects is most definitely impossible. Still, I think there’s every reason to use psychotropic drugs for a certain set of patients that find great relief from taking them.

Oh I don't care what he said. I just have a problem with the left going apeshit over the dumbest fricking things. If Dak wants to pour his heart out over social media I don't GAF. I tend to agree that he needs to nut up, but that is beside the point. Skip, although he may be a POS, is still entitled to his opinion. And if you disagree, that is fine, but calling for the man to be fired over this is assinine.
