Yep - You’re more like an ACC school ...maybe we can ship FSU to the SEC and open up a spot.

You do realize Dr Dudley at Vanderbilt created the conference, how are they like an ACC school?

They have high academic standards and they suck at football...sort of like Duke, UVA, UNC etc. Better fit really.

So did Tulane and Georgia Tech when they were in the SEC
(Tulane actually turned down a Rose Bowl for academic reason)

Vanderbilt
Florida
Texas A&M
Missouri

Are all AAU

Georgia is high enough to be AAU but has not pursued it.

SEC has academics so thy not act like it is just the ACC

Of course the SEC has academics and several highly rated academic universities but don’t pretend the conference as a whole is on the same level as the ACC. It’s not.

ACC, B12, PAC, and SEC all have mixed academic members. Outside of the AL and MS schools the rest of the conference favors well on academics with similar P5's.

Perhaps - but...ACC rates highest among P5 conferences 12 consecutive years.
