4 days was the perfect amount of rest. I

Eight days is a lot better. Plus, as mentioned before San Antonio just finished with a very emotional hard fought Game 7 against the defending champs.
That definitely factored in

If that's the case though it will only get worse with 1 day in between most of these games

Except now, unlike the situation with game one, both teams get the same amount of rest between games.
I was pretty much expecting this kind of performance out of the Spurs after their hard fought emotional series with Oklahoma City and with the Knicks waiting and resting.
The Spurs were obviously tired at the end of the game and didn’t match the energy of the Knicks.
I’m expecting them to bounce back in the next couple of games
The New Orleans Saints selected punter/kicker Russell Erxleben with the 11th overall pick of the 1979 NFL draft.

Actually as a Saints fan since 1970 this story is not that hard to believe.

Really looking forward to Yordan vs Skenes matchup.
The Kentucky versus West Virginia game is the one to watch right now.

Who are they playing in the Super?

They aren’t. That even makes it wilder.

If Troy upsets FLA, will it go down as one of the greatest baseball upsets of all time?

St. Mary’s defeating UCLA twice is much more improbable.

Without checking Google I know that Bill Laimbeer played at Notre Dame and the person who hit the shot to beat LSU in 87 was a Baton Rouge kid named Keith Smart.

Next time you ought to check Google.
Keith Smart hit the game winner to win the national championship but not to beat LSU

With only six seconds left on the clock, Indiana's Rick Calloway snuck in for a rebound and a layup to secure the 77-76 victory.

Thanks for getting the word out and lowering our chances.
Probably to appeal to the boys who listened to and bought the records.
They are probably channeling their own adolescent days and desires.
Similar to folks like Alice Cooper putting out teenage anthems like “Eighteen” and “Schools Out”.
I was thinking this thread might be about swingers.

I’ll never for the life of me understand “homecourt advantage” in the NBA. Just doesn’t seem like it should be a thing.

Google

Home court advantage exists in the NBA playoffs due to a combination of physiological comfort, crowd psychology, referee bias, and environmental factors.
Historically, home teams win around (60\% of playoff games, making it the most significant home advantage in major American sports.

Routine and Comfort: Players perform better when they can sleep in their own beds, maintain consistent daily diets, and avoid the fatigue of commercial travel across time zones.

Crowd Influence: Hostile environments can trigger subconscious cognitive bias in officials. Referees are more likely to make 50/50, subjective calls (like charging vs. blocking fouls) in favor of the home team to appease a loud, passionate crowd.

Environmental Factors: Players are highly accustomed to their arena's specific lighting, background noise, and even court dimensions or basket stiffness. Visiting players often struggle with depth perception in unfamiliar arenas.
