How in the hell do you believe that NCAA trumps state law?

Have you thought about this at all?
You're effectively asking for an example where a state wrote law that extended beyond their state.
Did you have civics classes in high school? Basic American Government?

Here is Virginia's law on employer's duties:
LINK
Note that it, of course, impacts businesses operating in Virginia, but cannot tell employers how to operate in other states. Because, again, basic American civics.

It’s going to blow his mind when he gets to the chapter on minimum wage laws.

Yes. Yes you are done.
Let’s play a game real quick where you answer a question.
A company has a minimum wage policy of $12/hour. California has a minimum wage law of $16/hour. Can that company pay their employees $12/hour in California?

Can we just start every player for every team at $1M per game and see how that works out?
I'll never give money to a player.. don't care enough about them or the sport. You all can if you like.

He is the result of people incorrectly believing for decades that the NCAA had unlimited power.

They taught us that laws can be created by lawmakers and apply to the state and entities living and operating in them.
Why you don't get that I don't know.

This is all like a balloon, expanding until one day it will pop.
I am looking forward to the day where teams will be like the first ones. Students are accepted to a school, then can try out for the school team. Play semi-near schools in a region. No TV, go to the games if you want to see it.
Let the teams we have now be the minor league pro teams they appear to wan to be.

The NCAA swung their dick around for decades, lording over their member institutions, slow playing investigations for years and members got sick and tired of that shite. They failed miserably to open up dialog with their own student-athletes regarding compensation. They instead chose to kick the can down the road and States have now taken matters into their own hands, the courts have rendered the NCAA impotent.

No. You know exactly how he is at fault. You're just playing dumb.

Um, the law changes what the NCAA can do. That sounds like creating a rule for the NCAA
Well, that's because you're stupid. A law is passed by our representatives. The NCAA is an organization that has to follow the law.
Failed 6th grade civics, I gather?
quote:
How stupid. He's the one that tried to warn you then tried to get it fixed.
Tried to warn us when? Between paying players and then siccing his lapdogs at the NCAA on any other school that tried it?
Then?
Or, when?
