Back when I played in the 70s and 80s we loved to go heads up. Paint marks on your helmet were a badge of honor. Other than having about a 5 minute memory im perfectly fine.

Pussy rule change


A reasonable rule would require the blocker to initiate contact with both hands first to "catch" the defender. That would allow for a block without people getting absolutely destroyed.
