No RAIN and only 75% red and black crowd.

Will the CLOCK help?

So if UT had UGA’s offense so figured out, how do you account for UGA having an almost 9 min drive in the second half?

I explain that as one of their last seven drives going for three points.

That's in the OP. You're acting like I neglected to mention that.

7 drives, 6 points.

Kirby shut his offense down in the second half bc he knew Tenner couldn’t score on him. Kirby went into his usual conservative mode in the second half. Ball control, power runs. If he moves the ball or scores , great. If he doesn’t, no big deal. Your defense only had to play run defense in the second half. I would not describe it as “shutting down” UGA’s offense. Keep trying to make yourself feel better. Tenner had a nice little team, but much like baseball you blew your opportunity.

So not because of the rain?

You sure it wasn't the rain?

the cowfkkers are telling me it was the rain.

40-13

post a score that matters. like the one that has UGA going to the SEC championship game, and UT being left at home.

We really shouldn't get the opportunity to respond to short dick inbreds like this, but since there is almost no moderation on this board, here we are.

Please do the world a favor and cut yourself.

40-13. That's the score that's gonna keep you out of the playoffs, and help put Tennessee in. It matters. You'd give your left nut at this point to have only lost by two tds.

What are you babbling about? I was very clear in the OP.

From 9:20 in the second quarter, UT's defense adjusted and shut down the cowfkker offense.

7 drives 6 points.

Well, almost. I mean, if you agree that we shut down UG's offense in one half, I can agree. Since we scored half as many as they did.

And in the rain, to boot.

The most lopsided 14 point win I’ve ever seen.

If Georgia hadn’t taken their foot off the gas and started coasting, it was going to get way uglier than it was

Also…..this is the most Tennessee post I’ve ever seen. Champions of the second half!!!

We've gotten progressively better and better all season, and showed out in the last 40 mns of the UG game.
Your defense is porous. Your secondary is non-existent. You let a 3* WR and a walk-on QB dominate you in the 1st half while we were throwing the ball. Say whatever you want about yourselves, but those who watched the game know the truth. Your defense couldn't stop us. We stopped ourselves for the sake of getting out with a W.

quote:

Since the Gump game, we've only allowed only 17 points a game, (10th best in the country). And yes, that includes the cowfkker 'blowout'. Cram that stat up yer azz.
Your team is giving up 22 points per game on average this season. Ignoring your 3 cupcakes against Ball State, UT Martin, and Akron, that number goes up to 26 points per game. That may include ST TDs and pick-6's and scoop-and-scores, but I don't know how many those would be.

Point is, you are giving up a substantial amount of points this season and have only been competitive because of your gimmick offense. UGA had the players and the coaching to shut that down, and your defense did what it does best and we mercy-kneed you for an entire half.

7 drives, 6 points.
Ah, you think that's because your defense figured out how to stop our offense, right? It had nothing to do with our desire to run the ball and keep TN to long drives rather than quick scores? You think that after our dominant 1st half of mixing the run and the pass effectively to keep you off balance, that we just decided to go conservative and only run the ball because we forgot how to play football, or because TN had shut down our passing game? Is that it?

At least you didn't blame it on rain that hadn't even started yet, like your retarded brethren.

Wait, that's what TN fans were saying - esp your brother that general dude. The rain bothered TN. Poor TN can't play in the rain.

Back to back drives

27 plays for 145 yards

14 minutes taken off the clock

CLOCK stopped one drive, RAIN stopped the other.

Ouch.

they played conservatively just wanting to get the 2nd half over. The game was won and they just wanted to avoid injuries. Something the vols will earn when they become a consistent winner.
