I've never understood that either. Because we had Coach Summitt and the LVs I've watched my fair share of women's college basketball and I swear they let the girls play more physically than the boys. The women's refs are also more consistent (which is really what drives me crazy).

I actually really liked the ref game in Arky/LSU. Both teams were complaining about no-calls, but I was happy to see the refs just letting them play.

Both were in quarters when I was young. I'm 40. TBH, I like quarters better because it allows for more strategy tweaks.
