There's little difference between SECr/Alabama Board and Tidefans type boards that I can tell. Chicken's bump on first page is a solid business decision. I think he grasps the majority of UA's fanbase quite well.

Bama fans make a habit out of distancing themselves from their own message boards but basing opinions of LSU fans off the Tiger Rant. Not sure of their reasoning, but the air of superiority that Bama fans strut around here with is more unbecoming than the blatant stupidity.

BUT when Tidefans is brought up, the Alabama fans here like to act like they want nothing to do with them or that they're much better than those guys. "Oh yeah, ignore them. They suck, blah blah". It's like they're trying to distance themselves from them.
And yeah the TR may be bad, but at least the admins aren't pussies and won't ban your entire fanbase from an internet message board over a college football game.

I like that Bama does this seminar. More teams should do it.
Just so happens that LSU is one of the most recent examples. The players of in-conference opposing players weighs more heavily than most people probably realize; a lot of these guys are good friends.

And the thing that's ironic is that when a majority of them signed up, it was on tigerdroppings.com. When I signed up, and I assume you too since we registered pretty close to each other, there was no SECRANT.COM.
