Maybe it’s that you didn’t really upgrade from Richt with Kirby?

Geez, how many freakin times do we have to go over this?

Richt WAS elite the first half of his career and the program was in the ditch by '15. His roster mgt was horrible. We were routinely down 10 to 15 scholarship players a year. Our recruiting from '10 to '13 was the worst 4 signing classes we had since Ray Goff.

He lost his energy for whatever reason and it was proven when he got to Miami.

Yep, worth every penny of that 7.5 million.

Exactly why it's so hard to hire a coach. Once they have proven themselves, they start to suck. Just like after a CEO finds his first outside gig. Past results don't indicate future performance

If you're a broke dick program like us you gotta catch lightning in a bottle.

I talked to Jimbo and he said that USA Today is wrong.

I believe this to be a myopic take. Only time will tell if Jimbo was worth the contract he is receiving. Year 2 out of a 10 year deal is much too early in his tenure in my opinion to come to that conclusion
