I think it’s going to be a while before schools are able to see this, but…isn’t this correct, at least to some extent?

The players still have to be coached, so you can’t just throw any warm body out there. But Curt Cignetti came from James Madison. Now, he had them punching well above their weight, but it wasn’t a power program.

Napier sucks but it can clearly be seen on tape Lagway struggles reading a defense.

Sadly....but Richardson was stubborn as hell. Do not think Lag is from what I have seen. He actually has emotions when he screws up, Anthony did not.

And Buzzcut does nothing to adjust or help him.

Yea...coaches should help a QB reading defenses. Not crazy that most of Saban, Smart, Meyers, Miles etc all read defenses well(most of them).

$21 million is peanuts.

A good friend of mine was student body president in early 1990s. He was at some alumni, student government meeting. Near the end of the meeting some leader said they needed, I think $30 million for something trivial. Folks started shouting out, I’ll donate $300k, another $100k, $75k, and so on and so on. They had $15 million in about 10 minutes. My buddy said his jaw was on the floor and realized then he was playing in a different sandbox.

Cignetti is a one eyed man in the land of the blind. When he faces real programs he looks awful.

I agree but if you’re given that kind of contract along with a big guaranteed NIL bucket, it would be hard for anyone to turn that down.

I couldn’t even be mad at him if he left for that

Agree.

Very, very few would say no to that.
