I can not believe that I am replying to a WRTroll topic.

How can you say that Meyer without Tebow will not be successful? Besides his great season with Leak at the helm (who had A LOT more than 85% of the snaps in their non-cupcake games), Tebow is still at Florida. So, you can look into the future?

Furthermore, everything that I read about Tebow's quarterback training mentions that his "NFL technique" and under-center snapping is a major focus.

Even if what you said were true, I still like the fraud. Only RBs and QBs are getting the shaft, right? Sounds like a good trade for 2 national championships (soon to be 3 nc's...I can read the future too).

Leak took a bunch of snaps under center while under Meyer.

When the defense doesn't have to prepare for it, the offense becomes too one dimensional.
You really have no understanding of the spread do you?

What player will be a QB or RB for Meyer in the future knowing the NFL frowns upon his shotgun only offense?
Have you seen the Patriots play football lately?

Shouldn't Meyer and Florida pride themselves on developing pro prospects?
No, they should play for and contend for SEC and BCS titles as often as possible. Producing NFL talent is just gravy.

you guys have seen the clip in the 06 sec title game where he used his last time out at mid field to think about rather or not he wanted to punt midway through the third quarter. Midfield! an area where the 5 yard delay penality probabaly helps you. this was after a 17-0 lead turned into a 21-17 deficient in large part b/c he couldn't figure out how to stop the wildhog, and couldn't figure out how to stop it again in 2008. Hell Arkansas the SEC's worst ever defense stopped it in 08. And it ran ROUGHSHOD over Meyer.

When defensive front pressure is strong and blitzes are disguised I don't think Meyer is better than a 8-4 coach without Tebow. I'm sorry. He just looks like too much of a fraud to me.

I was rather hoping he would not hang around actaully.

At least not until he provides a list of the NFL teams he could for to document his "expertise".

He made a questionable call in a game that we won... that also put us in the MNC game. Oh no he's such a bad coach.

But, but, but, Houston Dale Nutty has never made a mistake or thought about a decision for too long during a game. He's what we want our coach to aspire to, like the gold standard.
