The guy realized that Tebow was leaving, and Saban was building a monster. So he did what any pussy would do, he quit.
And if by chance his team meets Saban's team in the playoff. His team will be destroyed, again.

Urban is a great coach and also owned a bail bond company hush hush while in Gainesville to make more $$ and get his players out of jail.

Didn't care too much for his bullshite look down at you attitude when talking. He thought he was the poop ju jour.

Lets see a video clip of the Gators ripping the heart out of Bama the year before in the 2008 SECCG when Bama was ranked # 1 and undefeated. It hurt so bad that Bama went to the Sugar Bowl and bent over for Utah.

Meyer's style of coaching lacks integrity so he can get results in the short term but can never remain in one place for very long.

No. Hes a great coach no doubt. Not many people can come to Florida from a small time school and win 2 titles in their first 4 years.

But his flaws on offense in 09 and 2010 without Harvin, and then without Tebow and the way he left came back and left again doesn't suit well with me or any Gator fan.

Guy quit when it got too tough for him, and left for another "dream job" when the OSU gig opened up.

He can deny it all he wnats, but the stress got to him, and he chose for a less stressed situation.

I would have been stressed too if I surrounded myself with a roster full of thugs like Meyer did. Yes, I think he quit, but I think it had more to do with the fact that he did not know how to clean up the mess that he created.

That mess was bigger than most people know. Both personally and professionally.

Since most coaches could win 8 games a yr asleep at The Ohio State University, I'll say he is a better quitter than coach.
How he was able to quit on Florida and still get the OSU gig,I mean invent an illness , thats a helluva quitter.
What do u think? Does two NC's move him back as a better coach than quitter? He's got work to do as a coach to swing this pendulum back. That was absolutely brilliant.

If u dont have the stomach to coach in the best league against the best coaches......to where u have to lie and quit on your players....

Im sorry I cant get past this.

Go Buckeyes - Truly a tier 1 program.

And because he lied and left the Gators to go play in a weaker conference to pad his stats

He ran like a bitch. His legacy will be forever tainted for that.

And yet Saban stayed, prepared, and beat that arse. He didn't run like a bitch.

3 titles, three SEC championships, and one inaugural NCAA playoff appearance later . . .
