Urban Meyer (former Gator coarch from the SEC) was a dirty coach at Florida, at Ohio State and now in the NFL. Cutting players from the roster because of Covid (or is accused anyways). Urban seems to have a lying problem. He's faked heart attacks, faked needing to get away from the stress of a job and can't seem to handle competition from better coaches. He's always seemed like a slimy sociopath. Anyways, here is the link to the news.

I agree Meyer is a slimeball but the NFL is a business and you have to get personnel down to the final 53. I don't see the issue.

I agree it's a business but you cannot work around the NFL players union.

Doesn't matter if you see an issue or not, the NFLPA does and that matters.

the best coaches always seem to be the dirtiest, slimiest coaches… Urban, Saban, Smart, wade, Pearl, calipari, Mullen, etc…

Just win baby…

Sure you can. You just don't publicly state that vaccination status was a factor in your roster decisions.

Unfortunately for Urban, he wasn't smart enough to keep his mouth shut.

Businesses can do what they want. If they cut players for stupid reasons, they will pay the consequences.

Also, frick the NFLPA.

Yeah, you probably can. Cam Newton got beat out but to get cut from the team as a backup, it had to have something to do with the vaccine. As long as they don't verbally say it, not much the union can do about it.

He's a huge piece of shite and I'd be first in line to help him move to Knoxville.

stop ,just stop !!! Urban Meyer is one of the greatest coaches in college football history . PERIOD. Did he have criminals playing for him at Florida ? Yes. Did he have crazy assistant coach wives at O$U ??Yes. But you ask 95 % of his former players and they will tell you they love the man . He gets a bad rap unfairly . He s a winner . And successful winners always are being accused and trying o be brought down by the jealous .

I don’t even need to read this to know Urban is hypocritical POS. Always has been, regardless of the legitimacy of this one specific gripe.

Meyer is as greasy as the day is long. I believe we all know that, even the Gators who won't publicly admit it.

This is why the USC Trojans wouldn't touch him when he was available after his stint at Ohio State. The Trojans had had enough of Kiffin's antics, Sark's drunkenness, and didn't want to put up with Urban Liar and his excuses for not being able to withstand the pressure, stress, etc.

THIS is why Helton is still at USC...very regrettably.
