Didn't Utah beat the SEC West Champion last year?

I bet you were one of the guys who said "The spread will never work in the SEC!"

It's kind of funny. Most magazines have UM as the #1 coach in America. Yet, some random dude on an internet message board say's he's below average. You don't see anything wrong with that?

I think you're being a dick just to be a dick.

tdecen you mean he accounted for 13.9% of the plays. which averaged out to 6.7 per attempt beit pass or carry you didn't break that down. I'd say that is a substantial chunk of the offense particularly when alot of that was 3rd and 4th down situations. Even if it was 7% of the offense if it was used in the correct situations that would be a substantial chunk. That 7% could still be the difference in 3 or 4 wins.

wildrebeltime, in all seriousness. Ignoring any derogatory comment thrown out by either of us over the course of our arguments; would you be opposed to constructing an outline of your points and displaying them on the board located right below this one on the Message Board list. That board is where you will find people obsessed with the X's and O's of college football; and I believe you'll find a discussion there to be more fruitful for you.

dude how am I being a "dick" about it? When Tebow is gone the spread will not work in the SEC. At least not at the level a program is accustomed to win at. I still love how you guys think the spread will work b/c it's worked with Tebow. That is quality entertainment.

I'm noticing that you aren't replying to my request. Is there a problem with it? You certainly haven't had a problem voicing your opinion on this board. We need some fresh insight into the situation; and, let's be honest, the More Sports Board has a much higher collective IQ than this board.

Because you're forming an opinion based on your own opinion. Not on facts and stats.

Meyer has been a winner everywhere he has gone. Including the SEC. This will continue.

I mean Tebow is a factor but that still doesn't explain the losses 07. If it was just about Tebow UF would have won the SEC all three years.

Good luck with your assessment. I'm sure you believe everything you write. But for the most part you're just making assumptions with little regard to the past. You continue to believe that you can predict the future and we'll continue to laugh at you. Not with you...

I'm sorry was a picture of Wuerfful supposed to be the answer? Because I meant a successful NFL QB. The closest thing we have to that is Rex Grossman. Do I really need to explain how many picks he threw for the bears in his 6 seasons? LINK He was 521/962 for just over 6000 yards with 35 INTs and 33 TDS. Man what an unstoppable force.

And just for comparison here's Danny's LINK

In case the link doesn't work. Games played 25 over 6 seasons 184/350 for 2123 yards. Damn what an amazing pro QB.

Spurrier didn't need QB's to be elite, he simply needed them to be smart. Danny had an weak arm and while he threw one of the best fades in the game, he couldn't get it down field with zip. This is why he was a bad pro.

Our most successful QB is now a broadcaster and was on the bachelor. We were practically an NFL combine for QBs under spurrier weren't we?

Sorry my post took so long, I had a life to get to, message boards don't eat up my entire day.

I want to know where you got your sense of entitlement. I've talked and debated with people who know the "X's and O's" of college football; and I would not include you on that list.

You make so many inaccurate claims and once you are proven wrong on them; you merely brush over them and act like you never said them. You also refine your stance on everything consistently depending on the argument. If all else fails; you merely dismiss any statistic not in your favor via inane means.

The only thing I was requesting is that you post your observations and ideas on the More Sports Board. That board contains several people who know a hell of a lot more about the "X's and O's" of college football than you do; and I believe a quick visit to that board will remove your arrogance unless you have refined your views to be a bit more rational.
