You are right This would hurt him more than jail time. This in itself would probably destroy him.
And a little community service at Auburn would be nice too. Make him clean up whatever it is they are going to roll after the games from now on.

bullshite that redneck frick better serve time. He has hurt our whole state with his hate. The only way to clean out people like updyke and the ball dragger is for them to serve time and send a message to the other sidewalks fricks.

There will always, ALWAYS, be idiots in this world. Going to the extreme in punishment won't counter it, it just adds to the idiocy.
By no means am I excusing either action by Updyke or that Brian guy, but overreacting isn't the solution either. Fair, thought-out punishment is due. Nothing more, nothing less. Stupidity isn't confined by the definition of a sports fan. Jails are full of idiots that commit crimes out of stupid thinking and spur of the moment decisions, whether alcohol based, drug based, or simply dumb.

Some may be a bit entitled and some may be trashy, but to generalize an entire fan base makes you look ignorant. If you have ever met any Bama fans, you would know that the majority of them are great people.
To categorize an entire fan base based on the actions of a few is not fair.

That's what I'm getting at. We have sidewalkers and grads acting like fools, hurting the reputation of UA. I love Bama football, but the reputation of my school comes first.
