They were trying to play on your guilt. That's what he did to me, and it took a professional at the hospital to tell me it was a game to get me to let my guilt go. I don't respond to guilt trips any more. At all. I get very cold when someone tries it.

HBT, if this is too personal of a question then just ignore, but I'm wondering if you have lost someone close to you due to suicide before? I'm wondering because it seems like you have some resentment toward those who contemplate or commit suicde, which could stem from anger over losing someone you cared for due to suicide.

Had a girl do this to me. I was worried she might, so I gave in and reconciled for the time being. Then, I talked to her parents and told them the situation. She hated me for it at the time, but we're friends now.

It's ok to bill him, but charges? Embarassment is punishment enough. The goal is for him NOT to kill himself.

no problem, its honestly nothing against them and I actually think people should be able to decide if they want to end it or not on their own as long as they dont harm some innocent by stander. Im for personal freedoms

I know some states its against the law to commit suicide or attempt suicide..... not sure about Arkansas law...
