How funny would it be, and the possible huge shite show, if LSU, USC, and A&M finished 1-2-3, in any order.

If USC finished first in the conference, the board would collectively move on to baseball season and pretend basketball never happened.

Why would that be "funny" and a "huge shite show?"

Oh, you mean the SECr would melt. I get it. Yeah, well ... that tends to happen around here sometimes.

It's a tough crowd.

That would be a shite show indeed and embarrassing for the conference.

You're an embarrassment to the conference.

Do you guys play a top 50 team this week? If so, I think it would be the first time this year.

Good season so far Scroo.

Florida has a chance to make a run before heading to South Carolina in February...
quote:

Tue, Jan 19 vs Mississippi State
Sat, Jan 23 vs Auburn
Tue, Jan 26 @ Vanderbilt
Sat, Jan 30 vs #11 West Virginia
Wed, Feb 3 vs Arkansas
Sat, Feb 6 @ #14 Kentucky
Tue, Feb 9 vs Ole Miss
Sat, Feb 13 vs Alabama
Tue, Feb 16 @ Georgia
Sat, Feb 20 @ #19 South Carolina

If Vandy and UK keep struggling, and UF pulls an upset vs. WVU in Gainesville... Not far fetched to see UF going 8-1, even 9-0 before heading to Columbia.

No, obviously they can't control that.

But when you have the 219 ranked SOS thus far, it does cause people to question the validity of your team's work thus far.

Still, 16-1 is 16-1 and Cocky has a favorable schedule going forward.

If we look at what UF has done, UF has 6 losses: Michigan State, Purdue, Miami, Tennessee, Florida State, and Texas A&M.

Easily the worst loss by far for UF is to Tennessee. The 5 other losses are to 4 top 15 teams and a very tough Florida State team with 2 of the most talented freshmen in the country.

Not shitting on Cocky, but when the schedule has been like that thus far, thats the way it is.

I would say you have a ton of control over several aspects of your schedule.

I'll look at your schedule later to see when you guys play your first top 50 team so you have something to which you can look forward.

Recognizing their craptastic sos is not crapping on them.

When one looks at their record one is typically surprised. When one wants to see why they have their current record one doesn't take very long to find out why.
