It’s common to discuss football in terms of decades, so no, try again. You are just mad bama is behind uga in this decade, but it’s not over, so don’t give up.

It's so funny to me that the biggest gotcha people use on UGA these days is "you only won 2 national titles in a row and not 3! Haha!!"

Decades in football and pop culture are defined by the final 2 numbers of the year; for example, the 90’s are 1990-1999. Crazy how long ago the 90’s were.
The 20’s is the current decade, and that ends with 2029.

I know you're trying to sound smart but ANYBODY reading the phrase "this decade" would automatically assume the person is talking about from the last 0-ending year to present. In this case, 2020-now.

Shouldnt matter because “this decade” and “the 20’s” are interchangeable. They mean the same thing.

Not everyone had a narrow US public education. A decade is literally a 10 year period. That is the disambiguous use of the term.

that is exactly right. And unless otherwise specified, everyone assumes a decade begins with the 0 year and goes to the 9. We are currently a few years into the decade of the 2020s. That is how everyone else except you apparently would have interpreted the post.
