Mainieri is haunted by these coaching decisions last 2 post seasons
Last year Bouman was pitching a 64 pitch, 6 inning shutout against Houston, pulls him for no real reason, we lose the game 5-4
This year leaves Lange in at almost 110 pitches after he struggled through a moonsoon the previous inning and first guy slams one

That's why so many bitch about PM's pitching decisions. Bouman cruising - pull him. Lange struggling, leaving everything up against an ump that calls ankle high a strike, bullpen already warm, leaves him in to blow the game.
