Yes you are right and Bear is dead and nobody knows who he is, and everybody hates Saban. But y'all are still "just" Auburn and have never won shite. A streak against Alabama is all y'all have to hang your hat on. We are not just trying to beat Auburn, we are trying to win championships and I am sorry that y'all don't know what that feels like but it is special, just ask LSU.

If ESPN did a special on the Auburn NC it would have to be a reenactment because film had not been invented.
The difference is that you know exactly when Alabama won it's last NC and I have no idea when Alabama Polytechnic Institute won theirs.

That is a joke. Bama is all talk. Talk about mythical championships etc. The not just trying to beat AU is a joke! Just take a look at Curry - 10-1 record and fired after losing to AU.
Shula, call him names all you want, before the ib and ONE year removed from a 10 win season, he was being pledged support. Then lose to AU and fired. Gaurantee you Shula would NOT have been fired had he beaten AU in '06. And as long as AU is strong Bama will not win shite. When did Bama last contend? '92 when AU went on probation. How many times has Bama been in contention in 25 years? Once. How many times has AU? 3 times ('83, '93, '04 and would have played Notre Dame for the NC in '88 if not for one play in the earthquake game in BR). Sure Bama got the writers votes in '92, but they have been in contention for 1 title in 28 years. AU -3.
Sorry but as I said I would rather actually see my team be good and in contention than have my daddy tell me all about the "good ole days".
