Yankee desperation will kick in.. Hugh Freeze will replace Jim Harbaugh at GoToHellMichigan.

You heard it here first.

Y’all shite on Jimbo. The most sure thing there could be for a HC. Short of Stealing Saban from Bama this was always going to be the reaction.

I still don't think he was worth a $75 million guaranteed contract. He got out of FSU because he had crashed it into a trainwreck they still haven't recovered from and he played 3 teams with a winning record this year, losing by 4 TDs to one of them. I think there's still a good chance this is his best year at A&M. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Any coaching hire is a gamble. It's all about fit with the school.

For example, Kiffin at OM is a good fit - can cheat with impunity and if they go on probation, bail. Pittman wants to be at Arkansas, so they will be happy with him. I don't understand Leach at MSU - not sure I believe that is a fit. Drink could be good at MZ, because they need coaching as opposed to recruiting. Mullen will probably get run out of Florida ahead of the Lynch mob because he's arrogant, and good for at least one WTF game a year. Harsin may be a fit at AU - they were once happy with Gus so never know

Fisher and A&M are happy with one another. He's taken us to a consistency in recruiting we have been missing for awhile. And he fits like a glove at A&M

Twitter consensus

That's your first problem

quote:

He has been exquisite at bsu

Peterson was 92-12 (88.4%) in 8 seasons at Boise with 2 NY6 bowl appearances and wins.

Harsin was 69-19 (78.4%) in 7 season at Boise with 1 NY6 bowl appearance and win.

He's been good, but to say he's been exquisite is overstating when compared to the historical norm.
