Yes. Ask auburn fans if they ever felt like they had a shot.

Can we talk about how elite your defense was against South Carolina? I’d like to just review their game plan and go with that.

LSU offense is slightly better than the UGA defense. The UGA offense is tier better than the LSU defense.

Just wait and see how it plays out in Dec. instead of using all these alters when things don't go your way, figs.

these defenses they’re ranked ahead of have already played LSU

lol you realize that’s irrelevant to S&P+, right? If LSU averaged 500 yards of total offense and they put 480, their opponent’s ranking would increase because they held LSU below their season average. Just like if they played a crap team who only averages 200 yards total offense and allowed 220, their rank would drop.

Just answer my question: which elite/great (hell, even good) offense has your "elite" defense stopped this year.

None of you will answer. You just keep repeated "AU" which we've already debunked.

This really doesn't account for the difficulty of home vs road games.

uga's D is really good. I am not certain they are strong enough to create a decent push with 3 DL like Auburn did to LSU, but IMO they are the only team in the country that could attempt to play LSU in the manner Steele game planned.

And ignoring the fact that we scored at will on UF and Bama two defenses ranked nearly identical to AU.

Let's just give the shitposting OP what he wanted from the outset.

We can't stop LSU. Haven't seen an offense that good this year and can't possibly slow them down. There is nothing to suggest we can even keep it competitive and we might as well forfeit in advance.

There. Let's all move on.

You realize sp+ predicted a blow out victory by y’all against SC? But that doesn’t count as I’ve been told by Georgia fans wanting to live in an alternate reality.

My point is in regards to LSU's D being "terrible".

You're the one calling people names, sir. If you'd just answered the very simple question from the get go, you may have saved yourself the frustration.

So you agree, UGA's defense is overrated and not elite.

Negative. This is precisely why Steele game planned the way he did. He knew he could generate both a pass rush and stop the run with his three lineman upfront. Allowing him to run more DB’s and drop them into coverage. Georgia isn’t anywhere close to that. Y’all win yesterday if Gus doesn’t Gus all over the place.

Steele had a great game plan against us. If we score more than 23 against UGA, I will concede readily that AU had the best D this year. Slowing down Burrow is no easy feat and y'all did it in our own house.
