I do think UGA and OSU are the two superior defenses nationally, overall. They would do better against elite offenses than anyone else, imo.
This is all reasonable. And I agree that elite really is relative to field and not just based on rank.
All bullshite aside, I'm very curious to see how your D does against Burrow. AU has been the only team to really slow him down. If you can hold LSU to around 25 points, I will have to tip my hat to your D like I did UGA's.
ETA: AU's not UGA's (yet)

In the LSU/auburn game when auburn scored to make it 23-20 there was 2:32 left on the clock. Nix never saw the ball again.
In the uga/auburn game when auburn scored to make it 21-14 the fourth quarter was only half over and Nix had multiple possessions after that score.

yes they have
three of the starting Dlinemen for bama VS LSU were Srs. bama started three Fr, NT and two ILBs. One starter was a soph. The other SEVEN bama defensive starters were upperclassmen.

If UGA’s D is elite what does it mean for LSU?
AU total yards vs UGA: 329
Bo Nix vs UGA: 30/50 for 245 and 60% completion 1 TD.
AU total yards vs LSU: 287
Bo Nix vs LSU: 15/36 for 157 and 41.7% completion 1 TD 1 Int.
Clearly when heathy, LSU can play Defense!!!

You don't care about trolling, yet thta is the entire point. The reason Georgia fans are saying UGA will shut LSU down is because a LSU fan started a thread about Georgia's defense is overrated.

I think LSU's defense is much better than many give them credit for, actually. I still remember last year.

It's gone okay. I mean, there are three times as many LSU fans on this site than Georgia fans, so the quantity of posts is much higher for LSU making it seem as if it is going LSU's way.
Add to that, thta it is all perception. I have a feeling Georgia fans think thye are doing well in the argument, and lSU fans think they are doing well...because, well....they want to believe it.
Besides, who really wins these kind of things anyway? None of this will have an impact on the game or in anybodys minds.
I am more afraid of Texas A&M right now. They aren't great, but they have a solid team and could upset either team if they are looking ahead.

I didn't say LSU fans were saying they would put 100 up on Georgia. I said what you said is like me claiming LSU fans were saying LSU would put 100 points up on georgia.
