The reason people say this is because even though we lost in the early 2000's until 2010 we were keeping it close despite losing. Our teams should have gotten smashed but we kept the games close. The last few years havent been close and I don't expect this one to despite the fact I feeling like our program is building (still a few years away)

South Carolina has to have a hall of fame coach to sustain any continued success over UGA.

Literally where HF coaches go to die.

Will say this. If we play them early and we have an unforeseen flaw, they usually expose it whether they have a good team or not. See 2019. Saw that our offense wasn't that great, and it never was great again any game after that.

If we play them early and handle them easily, things usually turn out pretty good for us. 2006 and 2015 were exceptions to this obviously.
