So does UGA's NCAA tournament opponent - oh wait nevermind.

When was the last time UGA even finished in the top half of the SEC?

It's my ammo to you dweebs' assertion, as I quoted in my damn post if you can read, that Richt has "done a whole hell of a lot more" than Pinkel or anyone at Mizzou ever has. That poll shows that statement to be your basic pile of horseshite. You are predictably spinning it as "oh we are ahead of you haha" but they are both Top Five rankings and nobody in his right mind in the general public would characterize #2 nationally as "a whole hell of a lot more" than #4 nationally. They'd say its two spots separating two outstanding teams from that year. It reflects more poorly on you guys that Richt is that close to Pinky in terms of highest level or achievement, since you dweebs are the ones running your mouths about total superiority, not us.
All of this in a tougher conference.
I'm not saying we're the elite program of the SEC or anything, but to say your coach who's biggest claim to fame is one top 5 and fielded a mid level team in the Big 12 is even close to Richt is absurd.
Still waiting on one matchup Mizzou has against us by the way.

And this is the SEC, we care about football. Sorry I got you off topic with one basketball joke.

Negative. Those of us doing well at other sports and winning all sports trophies care about other sports.
UG is not one of those schools and I understand that.

And you're right, I get into other sports too. Just trying to avoid hijacking this thread into a basketball jerkoff when he can't back up his football talk.

Nobody gives a flying frick about division championships. I've been informed of that repeatedly since Pinkel has some of them. Then again I guess the standard is that if Richt has them then they are worth a flying frick, but if Mizzou has them they aren't.
Christ, there are homers, there are blatant homers, there are Richt-fellating homers who swallow, and then there are you guys. Holy moly.

You are being a bit hard on our blue blooded brothers from the tradition rich football state of GA. Know your role or roll depending on your attitude or needs at the time.

And you never refuted any other stats that we also beat you in.
Or said one matchup you favor in besides fan noise(which I bet UGA fills up 1/4 of the stadium anyway)

You sure? Might wanna check the polls for the years in question before you run your mouth about stuff like that either.
We hear this kinda shite every time we play an SEC team. And yes the SEC is a very good league. Mizzou then promptly goes out and competes and often wins, as we've done in our last four games against the SEC under Pinkel including two bowl games. And we have an all-time winning record against the SEC as a program too. Yes, the SEC is good. Does it walk on water from top to bottom? No. In a given year an Iowa State or K-State is damn right yes gonna be better than a Kentucky or Tennessee, and in a given year yes a Nebraska may be better than a Florida or what have you. Teams vary from year to year. The usual SEC fan standpoint that individual team and division variances from year to year are moot and that "SEC stacked, Big 12 teams fricked" from now until the end of time is a simplistic, cliched, untrue, Retardo Montalban type of worldview. Luckily you have us Yankees here to try to bring you enlightenment.

He has dipshit. You picked ONE year, and the one that best suits your arguement. Now why don't you go back and post ALL of their career accomplishments at their respective schools and get back to me.
I'm sure you wont' do that though since it will totally invalidate the point you're trying to make.

I'm not sure "on paper" if we have any matchups in our favor. Granted I think this somewhat has to do with the fact that UGA is generally at least a little overrated because Richt recruits so well.
I do think our OLine is going to surprise some people as we have Elvis Fischer coming back for his medical redshirt year at LT, and he was potentially going to get some NFL consideration had he not got hurt. His replacement last year was Justin Britt who did a very good job and absolutely dominated Quentin Coples in the bowl game. Britt will now move to RT.
At QB I think if Franklin is healthy it will almost be a wash, as I think he can be one of the top 4 qb's in the SEC this year, same with Murray.
DL i think is where UGA has the biggest advantage but that's just because we have some many question marks. Sheldon Richardson could very well develop into his 5* talent this year and become a beast (Would be huge for the team). As for DE, if Brad Madison can get back to his Sophomore year stats that would be great. Apparently last year he had a nagging shoulder injury that plagued him all year. And Kony Ealy was all over the field in Spring Practices. People were comparing his growth from Freshman to Sophomore year to that of Aldon Smith.
There's my matchups for you, now you can stop repeating it over and over again in this thread.

In a few years you will be wishing for Division Titles. Its about the best you can hope for during your first 20 year SEC apprenticeship.

We'll just have to let the game play out, but you seriously ignore every request to provide a single matchup which favors Mizzou and you hang on to the one top 5 year yall had as if it means Pinkel has had half the success of Richt.
ETA: I see you posted something about a matchup. Ima read it and get back to you.
