frick I can't tell, half these people I know are kidding but some think this garbage.
I'm hung over, exhausted and Nike just gave us pretty disappointing jerseys, it's a crap start to the day

Silver helmet and jersey are throwbacks to the pre-1964 Georgia uniform which had a silver helmet and red jersey with black numbers. Not real crazy about the red pants but Dooley used to do it from time to time - Tennessee 1980, Clemson 1987 come to mind. The red stripe down the helmet and facemask is a tribute to Erk Russell from the head to helmet blood down the face days.
Personally, I think dressing in red helmets and jerseys, silver britches, and playing like the Junkyard Dawgs would've been a better tribute, but obtuse faggotry seems to be the order of the program right now.
So rah rah boys, let's GATA!
