I never said I liked them but I just dont see why everyone is all uppity about it and how this is some how our gimmick/fault.

I think you are mistaken about how much people actually care here. We don't really give a shite since we don't have to wear em. And it's not your fault. It's your schools fault for allowing Nike to put a racing stripe down your facemask.
