I'm not as big on him as others, but you certainly won't have trouble making an argument for him. Respectable choice.

Henry > Walker. Henry skipped his senior year.
Henry won the Heisman and the Maxwell awards. Scored 28 touchdowns. Etc, etc. And his long NFL career speaks for itself.

Half drunk and Bonds still had to take drugs to beat him.
You’re comparing apples to oranges. Everything is so specialized and scientific now. You give Henry the same training from the 70s and you can cut his stats in half.

Sorry man. Derrick is a solid 2nd, but Herschel is the GOAT.
Teams knew Derrick was getting the ball, but the rest of the team was good enough you couldn’t just sell out to stop him.
I still remember the national title game. Herschel ran for 150 yards, and Georgia had 127 yards of offense….total. Played hurt, got hit in the backfield constantly and still somehow managed to get something.
Greatest single performance I’ve seen in a title game.

Mandatory, you’re an old man who’s a freaking idiot.
However, I have no idea why Bowers didn’t go top 10 at least. If anything, Broncos should’ve grabbed him right before the Raiders did. Bo is improving but man Bowers is a Pro Bowler for the next 10-12 years, he’ll be wasted in Vegas

Just stop. Even Bo is greater than Henry.
Theres a lot made about the fact Bo played baseball too. Fun fact, Bo only led the majors in one category.
Strikeouts.

I agree. I’m a King Henry fan but Barry is the GOAT.

Being old enough to having watched both play I am not going to argue with either.
You could make a case for Bo Jackson who is the greatest athlete I have ever seen, but your splitting hairs at this point.

Walker had 5562 rushing yards in the USFL

This is pretty much the argument I was going to use. Alabama was so insanely talented at every position during the Saban years before the transfer portal. The OL opened huge holes and beat the DL’s down to submission and the WR talent had to be respected. The UGA teams in the early 80’s were largely Herschel. Without Walker, Vince Dooley was a good not great coach.
