We'll see about Bama's lack of receivers on Saturday.

McConkey missed half the season.

The fact is Bama has 2 WR's with more than 300 yards receiving. They don't have depth.

Unlike past seasons when those two guys had a thousand yards each (Metchie/Williams), this year they have 750 and 550.

So they lack both depth and top end talent. Bama has poor WR's.

Milroe is actually pretty good at QB. He just needs better targets.

I did post data. One of yours said Lad M. was better than Burton. I posted the stats that showed differently.

Burton is a #2/#3 SEC level WR getting #1 targets.

Burton isn't even 1st on the team in targets.

1. Isaiah Bond (64)
2. Jermaine Burton (47)
3. Amari Niblack (27)
4. Kobe Prentice (22)
5. Malik Benson (18)
6. Jase McClellan (15)
7. Kendrick Law (14)
8. Jalen Hale (13)
9. Roydell Williams (11)
10. CJ Dippre (10)

Burton is 1st the SEC in yards per reception. He's 7th in the SEC in yards per route run. He's 8th in the SEC in contested catch percentage.

He's not a volume guy. He's had a great season and made some absolutely huge and difficult catches in big spots all year long.

Maybe we'd have more yards too if we played the same schedule?

But but him was scared of the racism.

Lol you fricking hillbilly pussy. I believe in two things - god and Karma.

Ole Jermaine will get his, Tennessee fans should have fricked his whole world up and sent him off that field on a stretcher.

No place in this world for a grown man who's willing to do that to a woman. Little bitch should be in jail.

This is so wrong. I would normally agree and I have been critical of the talent at WR but that's not it. It's Milroe. He's still developing as a passing QB and can only make one or two reads. The receivers are/were young and are also developing.

Maybe some of you guys shouldn't comment on Bama's "lack of talent" at WR without actually watching them play. Burton has missed a couple of games this year as well.

I watched Burton for 2 seasons. Rewatched most games. I'm pretty comfortable in my assessment.
But I'm not going to lie and say that I've watched him this season.

Has he gotten faster?
Does he not drop any fastballs?

Since I haven't heard Bama fans brag about his speed or his hands, I presume he is the same Burton in that regard.

I don't mind Bama fans telling me what I'm missing (2023 version). I hope you do.

But I can definitely say that McConkey surpassed Burton in his freshman season. That carried over last season. And as of this minute, I have no reason to think that the unranked white guy still isn't better than Burton.

Christ, Bond has 64 targets and just 542 yards?

Forget what I said, Bama has ONE decent WR and a bunch of crap after that.

he's not the speed receiver for Bama. That would be Bond but yeah, you're correct.

PFF has him with 0 drops on the season. I don't remember him dropping any balls.

He leads the SEC in yards per reception and has almost zero YAC (which means he is running by guys and/or getting schemed open down the field). He's run great routes and caught at least 10-12 balls in traffic that were game changers against A&M, Tennessee and Auburn.

He makes difficult catches, he doesn't drop the ball and he makes big plays. He's been very good for us.

We do share 4 common opponents.
Georgia ran for 802 yards at 5.89 ypa and 8 rushing TDs.

Bama ran for 620 yards at 3.64 ypa and 7 rushing TDs.

Did you still have a point?

And in every single one of those games, Bama had the talent advantage. It's going to be interesting to see what Saban can do when he can't just out talent the other team.

You seem really scared.

Its become obvious that you are just salty about Bond being another Buford HS kid that didnt want to go to UGA. His Sr year at Buford HS he ran the fastest 200m in the country.

This is just his 2nd year of CFB and he is doing really well and is more well known than any of the UGA WRs

Dom Lovett leads UGA with 64 targets (like Bond leads Alabama with 64). He has 553 yards (Bond has 542).

That would be a + in hands.
++ if he catches everything clean (even Bowers has to double catch a lot of balls).

It feels like he is schemed open a lot based on other talking heads. But I don't know.

quote:

. He's run great routes

He has always been a + route runner. He put the Bama CB in the spin cycle several times in the 2020 game. The ball didn't go his way on those routes. But his route running has never been the issue.
quote:

caught at least 10-12 balls in traffic that were game changers against A&M, Tennessee and Auburn.

I always gave him a + at late separation (attacking the ball effectively creating late space from the defender). But his hands weren't great. He had a slant against Bama in 2020 in the red zone where he tipped the ball up for the INT. It would have been a great catch. But it turned into a super easy tip drill.
quote:

He makes difficult catches, he doesn't drop the ball and he makes big plays. He's been very good for us.

I trust you. Like I said... I haven't watched him this year.

Is he still playing the Y for Bama?
