You described us very well

This year we just are not a complete team our Defense is elite but we have problems with the O line especially on the road.

If our D can keep forcing turnovers against Ga we have a good chance

But when Nico has to keep starting at 1st and 20 because of offside or grabbing a face mask penalty we can’t win like that

Those penalties cost us the Arkansas game plus our wide receivers need to catch the balls especially if it hits them in the hands

Ga is a good team Kirby will have them ready and that crowd will be loud.

Yeah. We are an above average team at best. Not worried. I am expecting a loss.

If it weren’t for how good our defense has been this year, I’d expect Georgia to take us to the woodshed as in line with recent years.

I expect the Vols to lose on Saturday and am going in with such expectations. I hope we are competitive and keep it close. Kirby will have them fired up. And we haven’t done anything in Athens since the Hail Dobbs.

No one is fricked playing Georgia with that playcalling and that QB play. I think Georgia wins, I don’t think Tennessee is great, I don’t think Kirby has ever lost 2 regular season games in a row since his first season, and it’s a night game in Athens.

But no one is “fricked” playing Georgia this year. I think by now you know the offense isn’t going to flip a switch. Beck is a fricking dipshit and Bobo is arguably even worse. This is not Georgia teams of 2021-2023, this is a team that is good but not great. I think that’s a pretty objective take.

You can blame it on Joey because his offense is something you see on Friday nights. Josh doesn't take over until the second-half.

Just give the offense to Josh from start to finish.

In the grand scheme of things, I don’t see Georgia able to win a championship with this team. Losing to Tennessee next week wouldn’t be the end of the world. Obviously you want to make the playoffs, etc but I sincerely doubt this team just all of the sudden starts; blocking well, having a QB who isn’t a total dipshit, Having an OC stop running a dozen screens all game and never calling a downfield pass play, having a secondary that can cover, etc.

This Georgia team is not great. They showed up one week on one side of the ball against Texas. The offense looked like it looked all year against Texas, anemic. So I think any rational Georgia fan could say that making the playoffs is obviously the goal but we’re pretty deep in the season, I don’t think their glaring issues just go away.

100% correct

The entire offensive coaching staff needs to be overhauled. Doubt it happens, though.

Just keep holding that L, for me personally it just gets sweeter the longer Texas fans continue to post about it.

Welcome to the SEC Texas.

Neither Georgia nor Tennessee is concerned with UT jr’s opinion.

I’m sorry, I can’t just let this go. Sampson has fumbled 3 times in his career. Career, not season. Those happened to be in the last 3 games. 2 of those were good opportunistic defensive strips when he tried to get a little extra. The other was very iffy and should have been reversed on review. He is not fumble prone at all.

We are Georgia. They are Tennessee.

That's all that needs to be said.

They haven't been relevant in 30 years while we regularly win championships. They haven't closed any gap.

Hahaha exactly. Tennessee doesn't stand a chance. Their talentless assclown of a quarterback will spend the game on his back.

Nah, I think Georgia just overlooked Ole Miss. They'll give full attention to Tennessee though I do hope they get loss #3 and get eliminated.

Win or lose UGA is eliminated. SEC Champion, runner up and either Alabama or Ole Miss or both. At best UGA needs the SEC to get 5 teams in which is not going to happen - 4 is a stretch. SEC and 3 other conference champs make 4. One group of 5 team makes 5. ND makes 6. at least 2 conference runner ups makes 8. That leaves 4 spots and at least 2 of those will go to a BIG10 and a SEC team that did not play in the conference championship game so that leaves 2 spots. With a win against Tennessee that puts UGA in competition with 3 other SEC teams with the same record with losses to 2 of them. A loss certainly eliminates UGA but a win still means UGA needs a LOT of help.

He's probably the best back in the country, but still it's been three games in a row always in the first half. Those three fumbles killed your offenses momentum and confidence until after the half in each game. If you van avoid that and if Nico doesn't make any mistakes Vols likely win next weekend because Beck is a turnover machine against aby good defense.

Will Brooks and that Boo Carter kid might have huge games on defense against him.

As a UGA team I am not worried about Tennessee....I think Tennessee thumps this UGA team pretty easily. UGA has no offensive line, no running backs, no QB and no receivers. UGA defense is, at best, sketchy. More troubling than anything is UGA coaching staff is just not very good. They have done frick all to mitigate some pretty obvious weaknesses that have existed since Clemson. UGA is a beast when they can out talent everyone and recruiting has made that a possibility, but the portal has leveled the playing field and this season UGAs coaching staff has proven to be completely unable or unwilling to do anything other than what they have done for the last 8 seasons, which is fully understandable given the success over that time frame, but the game has changed. When a Lane Kiffen team can dominate you the way Ole Miss did it is time to earn your money. It is doubtful Smart and company do. Smart has more than earned the UGA job for as long as he wants it....it is becoming pretty clear that it is not as meaningful to him as it was when recruiting was what mattered....now that coaching is required it may prove to be too much work for him. Not calling for a coaching change at all - again, he has earned the right to stay as long as he wants - but he is going to have to find a way to compete against teams with equal talent or teams with less talent but quality coaching. - and it is unlikely to happen given the amount of work it will take, a fundamental change in philosophy and the amount of money he has already earned....there is nothing left to prove and he is set for life. I think he has, at best, a couple of years before he retires.

I agree. Many people forget but Kirby was considered by a large portion of UGA fans to be a stubborn and often times unreasonable coach prior to 2021. His decision making regarding personnel, coaches, and in-game coaching was moderately criticized from 2018 through 2020. His saving grace has always been recruiting and player development and those advantages have been mitigated to a degree with the portal and NIL. He got fortunate for a 3 year run where he had NFL talent all over the field and had an unforeseen and hidden X factor in Bennett forced into action. He was going with Dwan Mathis for goodness sake in 2020 opener. He reluctantly played Bennett and Bennett just took the job in spite of Smarts reservations.

Kirby, unless he loses his stubbornness, will be Dabo 2.0. Dabo , like Kirby, assembled great talent and exceptional coordinators and assistants for a 3-4 year period. And had exceptional QB talent with Watson and Lawrence to polish it all off. Neither Dabo or Smart have ever been exceptional in-game coaches.

Smart has earned the right to stay as long as he wants. But he isn’t built for this new age of coaching and I don’t see him staying in it longer than 5 more years.
