I don’t think biased homers voted uga #1, or ran advanced numbers that have uga #1.

Good responses, thanks for the color.

Agree about Bear, but that’s what he was expected to become is all

I take it all back. Preseason polls are never wrong.

Preseason polls are meaningless.

Everyone knows that.

But recruiting talent and coaching up talent trumps almost everything in college football.

No Todd Monken is your biggest concern imo

We are using the same system and same terminology.

We gameplan each week with input from a half dozen coaches (including Bobo last season).

Bobo will have to navigate a roster without Darnell Washington and with Kenny McIntosh. So the playcalls will vary from 2022. But that is every team every year (playcalling to strengths).

Evidently not everyone. I didn't bring it up though.

It’s just arrogant and stupid to automatically assume Beck will be up to the task.

He has zero meaningful throws.

He could win the Heisman too. No one knows.

He played 3 games against ranked opponents in 2022.
80% completion percentage.
10.5 ypa
2 TDs and 0 INTs
211.92 QB efficiency rating.

You imply that working with the #1 offense against a ranked opponent isn't meaningful.

You ignore working with the #1 offense against our #1 defense as anything meaningful.

Apparently all of the respected minds in CFb think uga will be really good this year with beck, so it’s not arrogance or stupidity.

Thinking you can just hand the playbook to the next guy and not miss a beat is myopic imo

Would be a better point if uga was doing a major overhaul with no talent and an Inexperienced OC

The next guy was in the system last year.

He also happens to have our offense over 40ppg in each of our last 2 seasons that he has coached here.

The offense will be different. But that is because our wide receiver room is better. And we don't have Darnell or McIntosh.

Are you really trying to pass off mop up duty as "meaningful snaps?"

Well, if he couldn’t beat out Beck, then I wish him the best of luck! I’m sure he can play somewhere, and I would not blame him one bit for trying to take that opportunity. Best of luck to I’m if he leaves.

Real snaps in real games is a better way to describe them.

You’re replacing a top tier OC with a retread. I’m not saying the offense will be bad or anything but your HC is a defensive coach and has shown the willingness to go into a shell on offense even with talented players. He didn’t with Monken and Stetson but they’re both gone now.

Completely dismissing this as a concern bc Todd left the playbook behind his homerish

Your posts on a message board isn’t going to have any impact on UGA’s offense next year, no matter how many times you post about it!

Also, the quarterback has never started a collegiate game but he will lead an offense that scores 40 PPG because he performed well in some that games that Georgia led by 40.

A proven record breaking retread who has been around this team for a full season to be more precise.
