Explain this one.
You lost to 2 west teams, Bama and ole Miss, but you are looking at playing in the SECCG despite that. The cards fell into place for you but not in the way we are used to. Due to those teams falling off you backed in.
That’s just my opinion though.

Bama still owns Georgia even with Milroe.
Get that engraved on your Citrus Bowl trophy.

How far back are you going? Uga has owned Florida since urban left.
I’d say since Kirby got there. Richt was 3-2 vs Florida post Urban and barely beat some hapless Florida teams.
One could argue his 2 blowouts losses against Florida in 2014 and 2015 is finally what got Georgia to get rid of him.

Better hope Carson Pick doesn’t show back up.

djsdawg can answer for himself but I forgot to mention earlier that ole miss lost to SEC East opponent Kentucky, at home, in Oxford, this year, in addition to the loss against SEC East opponent Florida.

It’s funny that most of us can admit our favorite teams are having a bad year, but Georgia fans like these keep trying to pull shite out of their asses like this to make themselves think the Bulldogs are world beaters. Kirby’s best teams lost to Alabama twice and avoided Bama in the 2022 season.

You should hang this on a 200 ft banner in Bryant Denny Stadium.

“Avoided” is kind of a misnomer. Bama lost to both teams Georgia beat the shite out of and didn’t win their division.

Transitive wins and losses mean nothing in the SEC. Bama destroyed LSU, but LSU beat Vandy.

In 1980 UGAG didn't play 3 of the 4 other best teams in the SEC

Bama has more hardware from the past decade than Georgia has the past 45 years so using the same lameass comeback twice in the same thread is kind of sad.

“Avoided” is still a misnomer. You didn’t win your division bc you lost 2 games. And you didn’t play Georgia bc you didn’t win your division. And the 2 teams you lost to got destroyed by Georgia. So I wouldn’t say they “avoided” you.

You were forced to come out of the east and lost more reg season games this year than the last like 5 years combined and would have been dead and buried pretty much any other year

Regardless, the East has won two SEC Championships since 2009.

Regardless, Alabama won't be winning one this year. And neither will LSU.

Not enough room with all the championship years listed. You guys could pull it off pretty easily though.
