you lost 9 starters from that unit

that is such a misleading number. We also have 6 people that could start next year that started for us last year. 5 of those 6 are almost certain to start.

That's the point. A bunch of new guys that will be starting their first game against one of the top offenses in all of college football. I mean, y'all are saying Clemson won't be able to stop y'all's offense but do you really know the starting 11 for Clemson's D?

So all of that makes it "guarantee" worthy?!

Sometimes the best thing for a defense is to have stars leave the program and the defense as a whole functions better as a unit because they are not relying on stars to make all of the plays, and they play with more cohesion.

For the record I am not saying that UGA is definitely going to stop Clemson, but certainly wouldn't guarantee it either.

I really felt like a lot of that was going on last year. Sometimes there is such thing as too much "NFL" talent.

Having said that, it will be interesting to see if Grantham can earn his $ in 2013 with a much younger defense.

luckily a strong breeze may be enough to knock over their new RBs. but you're right about grantham having a real opportunity to show he's actually worth that salary, big year for his temperamental arse

What does that have to do with anything? I was talking about Clemson losing 0-30 last time they played y'all.

He'll do to UGA what he did to LSU.

I would come up with something witty here about the last opponent that UT played in their bowl game, buuuuuttttt....

So you rotate people, everyone does. You lost a shite-ton on defense, spin it however you want.

I know at the end of the day we're all homers, but damn yal can rationalize anything.

Definitely a huge concern for Clemson. We could have a freshman getting some singificant minutes against UGA and these aren't Gurley/Marshall freshmen.

Wooooooah, we're talking college here not NFL.

Well he won't have 2 of his biggest weapons he did in that game, including hopkins who did most of the damage.

And unlike LSU, our offense is actually potent.
