It's funny how everyone fully acknowledged and laughed at how terrible Richardson was last year, but now that he somehow got taken in the first round of the draft, it's a "hUgE loSS!!!11!! Lol"
I didnt shed one tear when he declared for the draft. I wish him the best, but deuces.

You are right Graham Mertz is your QB they are not bad they are fricking terrible
Graham Mertz went from becoming a mediocre QB at Wisconsin to "fricking terrible" at Florida?

Collins, Jackson, Watson, James, Searcy, Sapp, Lyons, Banks, Pyburn...
Okay sure - missing top DL talent of Dexter.
But when you shore up a lack of depth with 1 top-end talent with significantly more depth with maybe not the top talent, there is potential for better success this year than what they had last year.
Last year the injury situation combined with the depth basically killed UF's front 7 after September.

People act like Gervon playing 100% of snaps had no affect on his ability last year.

Started at -10 and is down to -6.5.
I expect this will be -3 and -4 before the game, especially as it is looking like their 2 best players, QB Cam Rising and TE Brant Kuithe, are likely to be announced out due to ACL injuries suffered last season.
If the game were at a neutral site, I'd take UF, but I can't touch this spread. Utah is a good team, but the injuries at key positions are a big issue. I just don't know how UF will handle Salt Lake City from a conditioning standpoint. Pretty thin air around those parts.

Kinda wild considering their last QB was about to go play for ULL with Billy.

I've felt pretty good about this game for a few weeks now, even before the Rising news.
The altitude is an unknown in terms of how it will affect UF.
People don't quite realize that Utah's passing game was relatively neutralized last year, and that was with 2 big time TEs - now they have 1 big time TE who is coming off injury as well.
Utah's strenght offensively was running the ball - UF has shored up the DL depth substantially.
Mertz is making his first ever UF start on the road, so that is always tough.
But matching up talent for talent, and what Utah does well... people are very much sleeping on UF's chances in this game, and that is without taking into account Utah's QB situation.

You are still failing…..
Are all of these new players? Freshman? Transfer from where?

You certainly don’t seem to enjoy discussing football with ANOTHER whiny response like this.

Florida whooped the last PAC12 team they played iirc

This was already baked into the original line. If this line gets to Utah -4, I’m hammering it.

I do think the line is interesting as Florida is not a bad team, but rather a decent team with the hardest schedule in the country.
I actually think UF is a bad team.
Napier is doing well recruiting this season and I think if they keep him around for a while he could have success.
But the talent this year for UF is bad. THey also don't have QB talent to mask it.

So half a point is preventing you from "hammering" a line that is misaligned already by a TD?

Didn’t realize this was that old of a thread. I literally just logged into Caesars and put money on Utah

And they would still play Georgia and still get their heads ripped off

Obviously. Nobody is confusing Florida as a team that is better than Georgia.

That’s quite an admission for a Gator.
