That was Chaney's gift to LSU. Not sure how generous he is after giving that one away.

I listened to Kirby’s Monday presser. I thought it was interesting that he complimented our athleticism on defense several times but never really our physicality. I think they used this bye week to get back to what y’all do. I think you’re going to come out and try to run it down our throats and keep the game out of Fromm’s hands.

I thought it was an interesting and kind of odd comment that he blamed lack of conditioning for the loss. Not play calling or coaching or execution, but lack of conditioning? That seems a lot harder to really correct 7 games into the season than a game of bad play calling/coaching/execution. Maybe it’s coach speak that I’m reading too far into, but I thought that was kind of odd.

The coaching match up is sure to be interesting with both teams coming off a bye. It’s a really intriguing matchup of a team with more raw talent that’s not playing their best in Georgia vs. a team that’s improving every week and completely bought into the new staff but has less overall talent. This game is a great start to what I think is going to be a decade long battle of showdowns in Jacksonville for the East between Kirby and Mullen

Luckily, even if Stewart is out, the safety depth looks better than it did at the beginning of the year. Steiner has been aces in coverage (just soft against the run), Davis has been good in the box (but struggled in coverage), and Taylor has been okay but unremarkable in both. I wonder if they have any packages with CGJ at Safety, although I don't think they want to give up his playmaking at NB. Hoping to see more Edwards and less McWilliams at CB.

I have been quite unimpressed with some of his answers. Lack of conditioning for an elite RB? Absurd idea.

Pretty much the LSU game all over again. If you guys can run the ball, youll win. If you fall behind due to turnover ect and must pass, youre fricked. Fromm doesnt scare me as a passer and our DEs can bring the pressure when they can pin their ears back

Just my .02

Right now we just dont have the beef in the middle to stuff the run. Our guys can run sideline to sideline but if you can run at them, its a long day

Franks will have to play his best game of the year for UF to win.

This game is more about where UF is under Mullen than UGA.

UGA has more talent than UF by far.

But we could run the ball vs LSU. We just chose not to do so.

Or that
If Kirby has another brainfart, it will get very interesting.

I really can't see a blowout either way. I think it will be a classic slugfest similar to 2012, but with less derp/flags, and more points.

Yeah, I don’t buy that Holyfield is not conditioned

It just seemed like a weird way to acknowledge what happened against LSU and like he was trying to do what he could to shift the blame off the staff. It was a weird answer and weird reasoning.

I am a little worried that with time to catch your collective breath, your staff said frick everything else, we’re gonna run the ball 55 times in this game and make Florida stop it. I think we’re capable, but I don’t think outside of Kentucky we’ve seen a rushing attack try to do that to us. I put on the Gator board, I like our DL against yalls OL in pass rushing situations, but I’m still concerned about how our front 7 will hold up if y’all commit to the run game (which I truly expect y’all to do, maybe to a fault in this game). If Florida gets out to an early lead and we force y’all to change that gameplan, we’re going to have a good chance to win this game.
