I want a way all p5 teams and maybe 1 wild team can get in. I’m not for a huge playoff but I would love to see all conference champs of the big 5 in a playoff and then an undefeated team like this

What year or years did Alabama claim a national title in which one or more of the awarding agencies didn't cite them as being national champions??

Ummm, no. They didn't pull an '04 Auburn. Their season is nothing like Auburn's '04 season.
