Yes it was a preliminary hearing, Their will be much more detail when the actual trial starts and witness testimony is heard by he public, just like no one knew about Miller taking the gun to Miles, what the hell else is gonna come out when witnesses hit the stand?

have they not already gotten all of the witness statements? If so, if there was a witness statement that was damning for Miller, then wouldn't he be considered by investigators as more than just a "cooperating witness?"
