I say we use TV ratings to determine how many schools get in playoffs. Ratings tell you who fans across the country want to watch.
1. Oklahoma at Alabama – 10.5 million
2. Texas at Georgia – 10.4 million
3. South Carolina at Texas A&M – 4.3 million
4. Notre Dame at Pitt – 4.0 million

I mean think about how historic last Sat was. Prior to joining SEC no one would ever see those matchups in reg season.
The SEC controls the TV market (eyes) and commish better damn sure reap more rewards for its teams. He has all the leverage now.
Its like coaches who do great in a season and get huge pay raises, we beed to get more money which helps not only football but our other sports programs as well.

Wonder how much the numbers shot up in the 4th quarter of the scar/a&m game?

An 11 am A&M-USCe game outdraws a Notre Dame game that was the venue for Game Day?
Those domes ain’t what they used to be.

I’m sure the relative closeness of the final scores had nothing to do with it.
