Texas State has beat Texas the last 4 games played.
Impressive feat for them

Still expect a close series against UGA this weekend - should be fun to watch

Texas loses 5-3

It's a midweek game.

Tennessee lost to ETSU
Arkansas lost to Mizzou State

It's baseball, it happens. Save the roster for the weekend. And with Georgia coming to town, hope you guys rested everyone...

Texas State is always salty in a midweek. They’ve won in CS back when A&M was ranked #1.

3 of our next 4 series are against other 1-8 teams in the conference. Do or die time..

Texas State is an average club as a tier-1 team. However, I could still take the loss if it weren't for the injuries. I could just write it off as a bad game, melt a day and then move on.

We could be looking at a serious downtick in Texas baseball future the next couple months. We weren't really what you would call a loaded pantry to begin with - we just worked well with what we had. Except now we are losing those.

Georgia could very easily hammer us into oblivion this weekend.

My only hope is maybe Texas pitching has more to offer than we have been expecting. I know Rojas has overperformed, but I could argue our other starters are between good and meh.

My fault for getting inflated hopes in an inaugural season for Schloss.

Texas State (formerly South West Texas State) always plays well v. Texas. Been that way for 50 years. San Marcos is 30 miles from Austin.

I wouldn't be surprised to see their closer in the CWS before he graduates. Unfortunately, it won't be for Texas State.

Georgia-Texas should be some good games, may have a bit of dicey weather.
