He can fully recuperate and go through workouts.

If he comes back he's playing.
Nothing to gain by just sitting at Bama.

Neither you, nor Tua nor Saban can predict if he will be able to play.

So nothing is certain.

He’s a fool if he comes back and risk another injury and set back

He's gotta be returning, it seems odd to announce a press conference just to say you're leaving.

If he does it’s because, Bama presented his family with the house note, lump sum due pay immediately.....if he doesn’t return...

He'll for sure be drafted this year whether he can play next season or not.

Tua is an outstanding young man. I hope he goes pro, for LSU’s sake. But I have a hard time rooting against the kid when he’s not playing LSU.

When he gets to the pros, I’ll be a fan of whatever team he’s on. He’s got one of the best attitudes I’ve seen.

I'm sure Tua doesn't give a single frick what you or anyone else thinks of his announcement. It's for him, his family, and BAMA Nation. Players have announcements every year to determine if they're going pro or not, and somehow Tua's a bad guy for meeting status quo. Not to mention, he's earned it.
