Does anyone do less with more than Tim Corbin?

Odd take considering he has played for the championship in 4 of the last 7 College World Series, won it twice, and likely has the most CWS wins of any active coach.

With the top ranked class pre draft every year…my point still stands.

This is disingenuous as pre draft means next to nothing in baseball, but you already know that. Vanderbilt is regularly Top 3 or 5, and yes sometimes #1. Several other programs are regularly in the top 5 as well, including LSU and Florida.

Perfect game is the standard lets all be honest.

I will say that Corbin didn't have consistent classes 10-12 years ago but whatever he's doing now is working.

Honest question for the few Vandy posters on this board. I live up here but haven't ever been to a Vandy game. Planning on going when LSU comes to town in May.
Does The Whistler make the games difficult to attend? I know some would argue just ignoring him, but even on TV that shite is insufferable. Is it any less obnoxious when you're at the park? Do you find it takes away from the experience?
Unreal that one dude (maybe two?) causes so much angst

I went to the series Arkansas played there in 19. The whistling was pretty much constant. That coupled with the fact there is no dirt anywhere on the field makes for a very weird environment. Nothing like the big baseball parks in the west obviously.

Thanks
I reckon I'll give it a shot. I'd be pissed if I was a season ticket holder and had to listen to that shite every game.

To get to our seats behind left field you walk below the football grandstand, take a stroll through the corner of the basketball gym (you can see the court from what I remember), then back out to the outfield seats. The pissers are in the basketball gym. It's a little different lol. No real tailgating to speak of.

So in the 4 classes that have seen postseason, 1 title and 1 runner-up out of 3 actual seasons played. Damn good by any criteria.
Going back further
2011 - Vandy 5
2012 - Vandy 2
2013 - Vandy 5
2014 - Vandy 14
2015 - Vandy 1
2016 - Vandy 9
From those 6 classes, also 1 title and 1 runner-up. Not exactly doing less with more. Corbin has won 20 games in Omaha since 2011, by far the highest over that stretch.

I have been going to Vanderbilt games for close to 20 years. For the most part, he doesnt bother me but i sit down the first base line and he is near home plate on third base side. If he was right behind me then yes i would have a problem with him.
