There are no tier 1 programs now just a bunch of good teans. With all the roster turnover and lack of depth it is week to week year to year with most teams and because of the eight games SEC schedule in. 16 team league with no divisions who you play makes a big difference now

Not consistently, there were down/average periods in between Bear and Saban and we may never see that kind of dominance again. But it was pretty impressive to watch both of them.
It’s odd that Georgia is falling off now too with scheduling changes and losing playmakers. Still strong teams but more vulnerable now.

I'd say GA and TX are in Tier 1
Tier 2is all the rest of the 2 and 3 loss teams
Tier 3 is everyone else.
The crazy thing is this year...some really good teams fell into tier 3 and some tier 3 teams can beat a their 2 team on any given weekend...jsut like last weekend. OU over BAMA, Gators over rebs and AU or Aggies.
