Only explanation I can think of is if one is the best player than the others benefit from the other being the best player hence Harris not being in New York.

Either way, Smith, Jones, or Harris deserved the heisman. Take your pick.

Well I mean, this is probably the worst Heisman in history period. Not because D Smith isn’t a great player, but because of the circumstances.

Lets be real, 2 power five conferences only played 1/2 a season, so all of those players were basically eliminated from participating for the award.

And the guy that finished #2 in the voting missed multiple games because of “covid”.

The award like everything else this season should be taken with a grain of salt.
