I understand, Ross. If it had been 52 (fifty two) years since ALABAMA won a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, I cry like a little girl too.

Did you even read it? Looks like that 17 year old flamer just owned you.

Go look at UT's 2 deep roster for those seasons. They were playing a 4-3 defense with Casey Hampton and Shaun Rogers at DT. I'm not sure how that is being owned.

Casey Hampton has been a 3-4 NT at the Steelers and hasn't put up stats yet has still made Pro Bowls due to impact. Also for much of his college career Hampton was under 300 pounds. He was 310 as a senior. He beefed up to 325 to play NT in the NFL.

Here's the Texas roster from 2000 (notice they are in a 4-3 with him lined up next to Rogers):

Then I guess the only thing that matters is that he's voted, by experts, a first team all american in college because he's the best run stuffing NT in all of college football. His defense gives up 2.76 yards per carry. There is nobody to really compare him to in college football right now since he's by far the best NT.

I'll stop comparing since obviously 3-4 run stuffing nose tackles serve an entirely different purpose in the NFL

Whatever makes you feel better.

He's the overrated anchor of the number 1 scoring defense in the NCAA FBS.
