Numerous people from other fanbases have expressed to me how much they enjoy watching Waters play. So, I thought some would be interested in my thread from Tiger Rant this morning.
This is a direct quote from the game synopsis in The Advocate (Baton Rouge) this morning. I'm not sure if they publish this online or not, so sorry no link.

If they were to vacate wins, I don't know that they would vacate the statistics. However, do they vacate wins if no player on the team is deemed ineligible? There are going to be a lot of disappointed people if these games don't get vacated.

tbh I dont think anyone really is hoping for LSU to get hammered. Myself personally I create threads about it because of the nutty stuff I see on TD. I really dont care too much about LSU outside of making myself laugh a bit. I really dont know why people get so bothered on here about the * or troll threads. This place is always like this and its now different because LSU has this going on inside their athletic department. Its really not a big deal though, and I think regardless if Wade is guilty or innocent, you guys will be looking for a new coach because of how the university, media, and fans have handled this situation.

It doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I've found that most of the stuff people say just isn't very clever or funny. The best one IMO so far was someone referred to LSU's starting 5 Thursday right before the tip as the hired help and I damn near pissed my pants. I was laughing at that for a few minutes. Another thread that was just created called Wade "Wiretap Willy" which is pretty good.
The vacated wins question is a legit question. I don't know that they would take the championship away from the kids if none of the kids were ruled to be ineligible. I can see punishing Wade and LSU for being caught discussing impermissible benefits, but even the article quotes Wade as stating that the "strong arse offer" was never presented to the recruit.

It’s definitely not bothering LSU fans. We mostly just laugh at people who post those things, cause we are getting under their skin so much.
