I'm starting to feel sorry for Harvey. I think he was hurting for money and somebody put him up to it...just to keep a roof over his head.

It would be ironic if a storm knocks those trees down this spring after the fuss.

Rumors are now swirling that there will be a second arrest this week and Rodney Orr will be questioned about it as well.

While the outright murder of those trees is despicable, we must also not forget the decades of waterboarding that AU personnel subjected those poor, defenseless specimens to...an obvious violation of the Geneva Conventions.

Seriously.

Actually, this is a relatively minor situation involving two dead trees. This has nothing to do with LSU or any fan base beyond AU/UA. Mind your own business, State of Louisiana. Don't make me post some Swamp People pics.

Please post them. The guy Troy, who I know when I worked in the plant with him 20 years ago, made prolly 500K or so last year alone. i bet more than most necks on here from Bama.
They may seem dumb, but these city slickers are paying them 10K a hunt for a freakin gator. Who is the stu, stu, stupid one?

I am pretty amused by some of the smuck comments on this thread. The "it is only a tree", or "they waste more in toiler paper". etc is the most asinine comments ever. I am an AU fan and quite ticked about all of it simply on principle but it happened so oh well... fix it and move on. Dont hug it... fix it.

However, the thing that irritates me the most is that a 60 yr old man has made all of us look like ignorant dumb asses. Also, seeing these posts on here drives in the fact thay maybe we are all a bunch of dumbasses. You only get this crap on message boards, Finebaum, etc where people can actually mask who they are and act bigger or badder since it has really not them. Not one of you would ever say the stuff you post on here to an Auburn fan.

So by the tone of your post... you are either saying your a dumb arse or saying you have some what of a brain.

So...AU students celebrated the Bear's passing under the trees back in '82?

No, they didn't you fricking moron.

And they didn't do it in 1983 when Bryant actually died either.

It doesn't matter. At the 1 min 17 sec mark of this video they say it was revenge for rolling when Coach Bryant died. It was broadcast, absorbed, and will be repeated as fact due to the broadcast not clarifying.
